It’s the little things that get to me. A newspaper on the door knob in the morning. Clean sheets and fluffy towels. A choice of tea bags. A voluminous robe. There are few things in life that make me more excited.
Last weekend we went to Dublin. We got a good deal at The Westbury, on Grafton Street. It happened to our anniversary weekend, so I told them that when we made a booking. We got upgraded to a suite.
It was lovely.
Here are some things I liked about The Westbury.
1) On Sunday afternoon, they had a fellow tinkling the ivories on the grand piano in the lobby.
2) It was right in the middle of the city, so we walked everywhere, all weekend.
3) Next to the large flat screen was a well labelled box for input and output cables; for USB, PC Audio, HDMI and AVI. Handy. Very handy.
3) At night when we came home there was not only a chocolate on the pillow and slippers laid out next to the bed, but a bottle of water and a glass cued on the bedside table. How did they know that all that Bulmers had made my brain thirsty?

I stayed in this hotel when I traveled to Dublin a few months back. This is a very beautiful hotel with clean and spacious rooms. I gave them a 5 star on service.
This 5-star hotel deserves the attention its due. The white unstained rooms, excellent service, and a gorgeous lobby gives people a taste of luxury at the tip of their tongues.
My friend and I have just returned from a 2 night break at this hotel. The decor was lovely and the hotel was very clean. When we arrived at the hotel we were welcomed by a friendly porter who took our cases to reception. Checkin was easy and we were offered hot towels to freshen up which was a nice gesture. Excellent location near to lots of restaurants and Grafton street shops. Staff at breakfast were excellent and the cooked breakfast was super The carpets and decor were bright and cheerful. Nothing was any bother to the staff. Would definitely return to this hotel. A taxi is always available outside the hotel.
